Product Overview

A concentrated brightening treatment pad designed for dark spots, post-blemish marks, uneven-looking skin tone and dullness, while also providing hydration and gentle skin-refining care.

The essence combines niacinamide, glutathione and three forms of vitamin C with LHA, lactic acid, panthenol, beta-glucan, madecassoside and ceramide NP.

Each pad can be used across the skin or placed directly over areas of concern for a short targeted treatment.

Why We Chose It

We chose the Glutathiosome Dark Spot Pad because it combines several useful approaches to pigmentation within one convenient treatment step.

Niacinamide appears high in the ingredient list, supported by glutathione and three forms of vitamin C: ascorbic acid, 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid and ascorbyl glucoside. The formula also contains LHA and lactic acid for gentle skin refinement.

Importantly, these ingredients are balanced with panthenol, allantoin, beta-glucan, madecassoside, ceramide NP and hydrating ingredients.

This gives the pads a clear role within the Glass Ritual Pigmentation Collection: targeted brightening + gentle exfoliation + hydration and barrier support in one treatment step.

Who It's For

Consider these pads if you are concerned about:

  • Dark spots
  • Post-blemish pigmentation
  • Uneven-looking skin tone
  • Dullness
  • Rough or uneven-looking texture
  • Wanting brightening and gentle exfoliation in one step
  • Preferring pre-soaked treatment pads to another bottled product

Because the formula contains LHA and lactic acid, highly sensitive or barrier-compromised skin should introduce the product gradually.

How to Use

After cleansing, remove one pad using the supplied tweezers.

Gently sweep over the skin or place the pad directly over areas of concern, avoiding the eye area.

For targeted treatment, leave the pad in place for approximately 10–20 minutes.

Remove and gently pat the remaining essence into the skin.

Close the container securely after use to help prevent the remaining pads from drying.

Ritual Position

Cleanse → Glutathiosome Dark Spot Pad → Treat if needed → Moisturise

The pad occupies the toner/treatment stage of your Glass Ritual. You do not automatically need another exfoliating toner underneath it.

Glass Ritual Pairing

This is already a multi-active product. It provides niacinamide + glutathione + vitamin C + LHA + lactic acid, so there is no need to automatically layer several additional exfoliating and pigmentation treatments on top.

A simple ritual could be:

Gentle Cleanser → Dark Spot Pad → Targeted Serum if needed → Moisturiser

If your serum already contains exfoliating acids or other potentially irritating actives, consider alternating treatments rather than automatically layering them.

Glass Ritual Principle: More pigmentation ingredients do not automatically mean better pigmentation care.

Safety & Ingredient Information

For external use only. Avoid the eye area and do not apply to broken or visibly irritated skin. Discontinue use if persistent irritation occurs.

Because the formula contains LHA and lactic acid, introduce it gradually if your routine already contains exfoliating acids, retinoids or other potentially irritating treatments.

Ingredient lists and formulations may change. Always check the ingredient list printed on the product packaging before use if you have known allergies or sensitivities.

Glass Ritual does not promise that cosmetic treatment pads will remove pigmentation or dark spots. They may help improve the appearance of dark spots, post-blemish marks, dullness and uneven-looking skin tone, but individual responses vary.
